Casa MA is an independent project in San José, Costa Rica. Its activities are geared towards disseminating practices created by women and non-binary people in Costa Rica, Central America, and their diaspora. The project arose from the desire to strengthen feminist struggles in Latin America through art, and from the urgent need to respond to the racist and misogynistic logics that shape the cultural landscape and local society. We organize and offer free workshops, lectures, exhibitions, debates, and public gatherings, with the aim of building collective spaces to reflect on shared issues.
