Amalentos
The Amalentos come from the union and play on words love+slow+amulet. It is a series of amulets and talismans that invite contemplation - serene and intimate reflection - and to slow down our mental acceleration to make time for our healing capacity to love and be present through heartfelt and deep observation.

Amalentos remind us of our ancient ability to attribute to an object a magical power capable of giving health, protection, abundance or luck to benefit the person who cares for it or has it with them.

The word Amulet comes from the Latin amuletum; collected in Naturalis Historia by Pliny the Elder, meaning "an object that protects a person against a problem." Amalentos are objects and paintings that symbolize and expand the warm fire of the intention and intuition of those who care for them.

This series collects shapes, colors and gestures of gems observed in this world and ancestral memories that inhabit my dreams.
