"Telephony" is a series of explorations of human fears regarding body transformation and human interaction, stemming from the development of telephone technology.

Projections blend images of the unconscious, the psychological, and the physical through repetitive line drawings, magazine cut-out collages, and juxtaposed strokes. Sculptural pieces combine found devices with volumes of organic forms modeled in clay.

These works are a kind of visual fiction, based on nightmares from the period when mobile phone subscriptions became popular in Costa Rica.
